Robert Kusserow is an actor-writer-producer whose work spans film, television, documentary, and literature. He is the founder of Peekapoo Sisters Productions, a Florida-based company dedicated to storytelling rooted in emotional truth, social relevance, and bold cinematic perspective.

Robert began his career inside the entertainment industry’s most influential studios. At Universal Pictures, he contributed to the development of films including Bride of ChuckyPsychoMeet Joe BlackOctober SkyThe Mummy, and the Academy Award-winning Erin Brockovich. He later served at Paramount Pictures, contributing to development of major releases such as Mission: Impossible 2ShaftWhat Women WantSave the Last Dance, and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.

Before entering features, Robert worked in broadcast journalism as an intern with MTV News and KCAL-TV, gaining firsthand experience in reportage, narrative shaping, and story ethics – a foundation that deeply informs his documentary voice.

Robert holds a B.A. in Television & Film Production from California State University, Northridge, an MBA, and is a Television & Film screenwriting certificate candidate at UCLA Extension, specializing in one-hour drama, feature film, and documentary structure.

His work focus on stories that illuminate the human condition and challenge the systems that shape our lives. He lives in Orlando with his husband Guilherme and their dog Lucy.
